Contact Megazee.com Physiotherapy in Manchester

Three ways to reach a physiotherapist, plus everything you need to find us and plan your first visit.

Last updated 21 September 2026

You can reach a person at Megazee.com by phone, by email, or through the form on this page. Whichever route you pick, the aim is the same: to get you an assessment with the right physiotherapist, at a time you can actually make, without a fortnight of back and forth.

This page tells you how to book, what we will ask when you make contact, when the clinic is open, how to find the building and park near it, what the enquiry form needs from you, and, importantly, the small number of symptoms that mean you should call emergency services rather than us. If you already know what you want, book a physiotherapy assessment online. If you would rather talk it through first, call 0161 000 0000.

How to Book Physiotherapy at Megazee.com

Call us on 0161 000 0000. Best if you are not sure what is wrong, you have a complicated history, or you want a specific physiotherapist. Reception can see the live diary and will usually offer you a choice of slots in the same call. Tap the number on a mobile to dial it directly.

Book online. Fastest if you know you want an initial assessment and you can see a time that works. Our booking page shows real availability rather than sending a message into a void. Choose a slot, add your details, done.

Email hello@megaazee.com. Sensible if you are at work, if you are comparing options, or if the question is administrative rather than clinical, for instance an invoice, an insurance authorisation code, or a request for records.

Ask for a free ten-minute triage call. If you genuinely do not know whether physiotherapy is the right service for your problem, ask reception to book you a short call with a physiotherapist. It is a conversation, not an assessment. We cannot diagnose you over the phone, and we will not try. What we can do is tell you whether your description sounds like something we treat, roughly what an assessment would involve, and whether you would be better off starting with your GP.

You do not need a GP referral to see us. Self-referral is normal in private physiotherapy, and most people who book with Megazee.com arrive that way. The exception is insurance: some insurers require a GP referral or a pre-authorisation code before they will fund treatment, so check your policy before your first appointment and bring the code with you. Our page on physiotherapy session prices and the insurers we accept explains how self-pay and insured treatment differ.

Have these to hand when you get in touch

It speeds everything up, and it means your first appointment is spent on you rather than on admin.

  • The body area, roughly when it started, and whether anything triggered it
  • Any scan or X-ray you have had, and who arranged it (bring the report to the appointment rather than emailing it)
  • Your surgeon’s name, the operation, and the date, if you are recovering from surgery
  • Your insurer, policy number and authorisation code, if you are claiming
  • The days and times you could realistically attend, including evenings

What Happens After You Contact Us

We aim to answer enquiries within one working hour, Monday to Friday. Messages left overnight, at weekends or on bank holidays are answered on the next working morning. If you have not heard from us within one working day, assume something has gone astray and call 0161 000 0000 rather than waiting.

An online enquiry or form submission is a request for an appointment. It becomes a confirmed booking only when we reply to confirm it, so please do not travel to the clinic until you have that confirmation in writing.

When we call you back, expect three or four short questions: where the problem is, how long it has been there, whether you have had any investigations, and what you are hoping to get back to. That last one matters more than people expect, because a plan aimed at walking the dog comfortably looks different from a plan aimed at a half marathon in eleven weeks.

We will then either offer you appointment times, or tell you honestly that physiotherapy is not the right starting point. That second answer is rarer, but it happens. Symptoms that look inflammatory rather than mechanical, problems that need imaging or a medical opinion first, and presentations outside our scope all get pointed towards a GP or the relevant service instead. We would rather lose a booking than take a payment for the wrong care. There is more on how we practise on our page about our physiotherapy clinic in Manchester.

Once a booking is confirmed you will receive an email with the time, the name of your physiotherapist, the address, what to wear, and the cancellation terms. Bring loose clothing you can move in, and shorts if the problem is in a leg, hip or back.

Evening appointments go first, usually two to three weeks ahead, so book those further out if you work standard hours. Early morning slots before 09:00 are the easiest to get at short notice.

Outside these hours the phone goes to voicemail. The voicemail is not monitored, and it is not a clinical service. Leave your name and number and we will return the call when the clinic reopens. If your symptoms cannot wait that long, use the urgent care guidance further down this page.

Finding Our Manchester Physiotherapy Clinic

14 Bridgewater House, Quay Street, Manchester M3 3HN Telephone: 0161 000 0000 · Email: hello@megaazee.com

The entrance is a step-free entrance at street level with an automatic door, and our name is on the door. Ring the bell if the door is closed and reception will let you in. Give yourself a few extra minutes on a first visit, since new patients complete a short health questionnaire before the assessment starts.

Parking. paid on-street parking and a multi-storey car park within a short walk. There are two accessible bays directly outside the main entrance. If parking is likely to be tight at your appointment time, reception will tell you when you book.

Public transport. The nearest station is Deansgate–Castlefield, about six minutes minutes on foot. Buses several city-centre routes stop at Quay Street.

Arriving by bike. sheltered cycle racks at the rear of the building.

Being dropped off. There is space to stop directly outside the entrance for a minute or two, which helps if walking any distance is currently painful. Tell reception when you book and we will keep an eye out for you.

Accessibility at the Clinic

A physiotherapy clinic that is hard to get into is a contradiction. A good share of our patients arrive on crutches, in a post-operative brace, or moving very slowly indeed, so access is something we take seriously rather than mention in passing.

  • Step-free access from the street to reception, and a ground-floor treatment room available on request
  • Accessible WC on the ground floor
  • Lift to the first-floor rehabilitation gym
  • Hearing loop at reception
  • Longer appointment times on request at no extra cost, if you need more time to undress, transfer or communicate
  • Assistance dogs welcome throughout the building
  • Interpreters, including British Sign Language, can be arranged with notice. Ask when you book
  • Home visits for patients who cannot travel. Ask about availability and the area we cover when you call 0161 000 0000

Tell us what you need when you book rather than on the day, and we will have it ready. If something about the building or this website is difficult for you to use, we want to hear about it. Email hello@megaazee.com, or read our accessibility statement, which sets out our current conformance status and the problems we already know about.

Our Enquiry Form

The form is deliberately short. Everything clinical is discussed properly at your appointment, so we only ask for what we need to call you back and offer a sensible slot.

Submit Send my enquiry

Confirmation message shown after submitting: Thank you. Your enquiry has reached the clinic and we will reply within one working hour, Monday to Friday. If your symptoms are severe or getting rapidly worse, do not wait for our reply. Call 0161 000 0000 during opening hours, or follow the urgent care guidance below.

Error message pattern: each error names the field and says what to do, for example “Enter a phone number we can reach you on, including the area code.” Errors appear next to the field and in a summary at the top of the form.

A note on email security. Standard email is not encrypted, so please keep clinical detail out of it. Send us enough to arrange an appointment and no more. If you need to share medical records, ask reception about a secure route.

When to Seek Urgent Care Instead of Contacting Us

Do not wait for a physiotherapy appointment if any of the following apply. Call 999 or go to your nearest emergency department.

  • Spinal red flags: loss of bladder or bowel control, difficulty passing urine, numbness or altered sensation around the back passage, genitals or inner thighs, or worsening weakness in both legs. These can indicate cauda equina syndrome, which is a surgical emergency and gets worse with delay.
  • Signs of stroke: face drooping on one side, weakness in one arm, slurred or confused speech. Act FAST and call 999 immediately.
  • Chest pain or tightness, pain spreading to the jaw or arm, or sudden breathlessness.
  • Sudden, severe headache unlike any you have had before, particularly with neck stiffness, fever, vision changes or vomiting.
  • A suspected fracture or dislocation, an obviously deformed limb, or an injury you cannot put any weight through.
  • Signs of infection alongside joint or spinal pain: fever, sweats, chills, or a hot, swollen, very painful joint.
  • A calf that is swollen, hot and painful, especially after surgery, a long flight or a spell of immobility, which may indicate a blood clot.

For anything urgent but not life threatening, contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk or call 111, free, at any hour. Outside the UK, use your local emergency number and urgent care service.

Speak to your GP before booking physiotherapy if you have unexplained weight loss alongside your pain, night pain that wakes you regularly and does not change with position, a history of cancer with new bony pain, or pain accompanied by a widespread rash or a general feeling of being unwell. Physiotherapy may still be part of your care, but a medical assessment should come first.

If you are already a Megazee patient and something changes sharply between appointments, call 0161 000 0000 during opening hours and ask to speak to your physiotherapist. Soreness for a day or so after hands-on treatment or a new exercise is common and usually settles. Severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, and any of the red flags above, need urgent medical attention rather than a phone call to us.

Contact Questions, Answered

How quickly will you reply to my enquiry? Within one working hour, Monday to Friday, during opening hours. Enquiries that arrive overnight, at the weekend or on a bank holiday are answered on the next working morning. Phone is faster than email or the form, because reception can book you in during the same call rather than playing message tag.

Do I need a GP referral before I contact you? No. You can self-refer to a private physiotherapist and book directly with us. The one thing worth checking first is your insurance: some insurers require a GP referral or an authorisation code before they will pay, and a few will only fund treatment booked through a particular route. Your policy documents or your insurer’s helpline will tell you in a couple of minutes.

Can I speak to a physiotherapist before I book anything? Yes. Ask for the free ten-minute triage call and reception will arrange a time. It is a conversation about whether physiotherapy fits your problem, not a diagnosis, and nobody will push you into an appointment at the end of it. If you already know what you need, skip it and book a physiotherapy assessment directly.

What if I need to change or cancel my appointment? Call 0161 000 0000 or email hello@megaazee.com as early as you can. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so the slot can go to someone else. Cancellations inside that window, and missed appointments, may be charged. Genuine emergencies are handled sensibly, so tell us what happened. Full terms are on our terms and conditions page.

Can you see me at home, or by video, if I cannot get to the clinic? Often, yes. Home visits are available for patients who cannot travel, and video consultations suit follow-up sessions, exercise progression and advice well. Some things genuinely need hands and a plinth, so a first assessment is usually better done in person where that is possible. Call 0161 000 0000 and we will tell you honestly which format suits your problem.

Other Ways to Reach Us

Feedback or a complaint. We would rather hear it than not. Our complaints procedure explains who receives your concern, how quickly we respond, and how to escalate it to the Health and Care Professions Council if you are not satisfied with our answer. Raising a concern never affects the care you receive.

Data protection requests. To ask for a copy of your records, correct something in them, or ask a question about how we use your information, email hello@megaazee.com with “Data request” in the subject line. Our privacy policy sets out your rights and how long we keep clinical records.

Invoices and insurance queries. Email hello@megaazee.com with your appointment date and, if relevant, your claim reference.

Employers, clubs and occupational health. We provide workplace assessments, injury screening and pitchside cover. Call 0161 000 0000, or see the physiotherapy treatments we offer for what is available.

Before You Get in Touch

It may help to look at the conditions our physiotherapy team treats, meet our registered physiotherapists, or check physiotherapy prices and insurers we accept. If you want to understand what an appointment involves before committing to one, our page on physiotherapy for back pain and sciatica walks through a typical assessment for the problem we see most often.

Ready when you are. Call 0161 000 0000, email hello@megaazee.com, or book your physiotherapy assessment online.
