Megazee.com Editorial Policy
The standards every Megazee.com article is held to, from the first idea to the latest update.
Last updated 16 October 2026
This policy explains how Megazee.com chooses, researches, writes, reviews and updates the articles we publish. It applies to every piece on the site, whether it was written by our editorial team or by a contributor.
Our editorial principles
Usefulness first. Every article must answer a real question and leave the reader with a clear next step. If a piece does not help someone do, decide or understand something, we do not publish it.
Accuracy. We check facts before publication and link to primary or official sources for claims about health, money, law, safety and technical rules. We do not invent statistics, studies, quotes, people or reviews.
Clarity. We write in plain English for intelligent non-specialists. Jargon is explained the first time it appears. Steps are numbered, comparisons are laid out side by side and conclusions are stated plainly.
Independence. Our editorial decisions are made by our editors alone. Advertisers, affiliate partners and contributors do not get to decide what we say about a product, service or topic.
Fairness. Where reasonable people disagree, or where the right choice depends on circumstances, we explain the trade-offs rather than pretending there is one right answer.
How we choose topics
Topics come from reader questions, search behavior, our own experience and gaps we see in existing information. Before writing begins, an editor agrees the question the article will answer, the reader it is for and what a genuinely useful answer looks like.
Research and sourcing
Writers research from reliable sources: government and public health bodies, regulators, established institutions, official documentation and genuine first-hand experience. We prefer primary sources to summaries of summaries. When we link to an external source, it is because it adds value or lets you verify a claim.
For health and finance content, we follow mainstream, established guidance and avoid speculative or fringe claims. These articles carry a clear note that they are general information, not personal advice.
Editing and fact-checking
Every draft is edited before publication. The editor checks:
- that facts, figures and instructions are accurate and sourced where needed;
- that the article actually answers the question it set out to answer;
- that steps can be followed in order by someone new to the topic;
- that the language is clear, inclusive and free of filler; and
- that any commercial relationship is properly disclosed.
Updates and corrections
Many of our guides are evergreen, but rules, prices and best practice change. We review published articles regularly and update them when the facts move. Articles show their publish date, and the date of the most recent significant update where there is one.
If we get something wrong, we fix it. Readers can report errors to editor@megaazee.com. We review every report, correct genuine errors promptly and, where a correction changes the meaning of an article, make that clear.
Advertising, affiliates and sponsorship
Megazee.com may carry display advertising and may earn a commission when readers buy through some links. These arrangements help keep the site free to read. They never determine which products or services we cover or what we say about them. Affiliate links and sponsored content, if any, are disclosed clearly, and sponsored content is always labelled as such. See our disclaimer for details.
Use of AI tools
Writers and editors may use software tools, including AI-assisted tools, to help with research organization, outlining or proofreading. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked and approved by a human editor before publication, and the editorial team is responsible for everything we publish.
Contributors
Contributors must follow this policy. Submissions must be original, unpublished elsewhere and free of undisclosed commercial links. We edit all contributed work and may decline or remove content that does not meet our standards. Guidelines are on our write for us page.
